Jupiter Quality Limited is busy these days checking the quality of services for people with a learning disability in and around Cumbria. Mark and Liz are our consultants and are now really expert in checking the services people receive and finding out how happy they are in their lives. We have been using the Reach Standards and some questions of our own to find out about services. What we have found out is how differently people receive their support and how different that support is for each individual person.
It has been great though going to meet all these people and learning about their lives. We give reports back to the company that ask us to do the checks and then they can hear all about what we saw and learnt. They can then make any changes to the care they give if it is needed.
